The Hero XPulse 421 is the highly anticipated flagship adventure motorcycle that elevates the popular XPulse series into a more premium segment. First showcased as a concept at EICMA 2024 and expected to enter mass production for the 2026 model year, this bike features a completely newly developed 421cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Producing approximately 45 hp and 45 Nm of torque, this powerplant is designed to provide ample performance for highway cruising while maintaining the low-end grunt necessary for demanding off-road trails. Built on a new steel trellis frame, the XPulse 421 is equipped with long-travel upside-down (USD) front forks and an adjustable rear monoshock. The 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheel configuration confirms its genuine dual-sport character. On the technology front, the model is packed with modern features including a color TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, multiple riding modes, and switchable rear ABS. Drawing inspiration from Hero's Dakar Rally expertise, the design features a high-mounted fender and aggressive bodywork. The XPulse 421 aims to be a formidable competitor in the middleweight adventure segment, challenging established rivals like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the KTM 390 Adventure.
