The Hero Karizma 400 is the upcoming flagship sportbike from Hero MotoCorp, set to elevate the iconic Karizma legacy into the high-performance 400cc segment by 2026. Developed to strengthen Hero's presence in the premium motorcycle market, it is expected to be powered by a brand-new 400cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing approximately 35-40 hp and 35 Nm of torque. Drawing design inspiration from the CE 001 concept shown at EICMA and the current XMR 210, the motorcycle features sharp lines and an aerodynamic profile. Built on a high-tensile steel trellis frame, it aims to offer a perfect balance of lightweight agility and superior handling. The hardware package is anticipated to include inverted (USD) front forks, a gas-charged rear monoshock, and disc brakes with dual-channel ABS as standard. Technological highlights are expected to include a full-color TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and multiple riding modes. The Karizma 400 is strategically positioned to compete with established rivals such as the KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 400, and the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, offering a blend of performance, style, and value.
